Biography of a Passing GlanceDear Melanie,
The apricot floor tiles are slicked over with grey grime that glitters under the fluorescent lights, which are flickering just too fast for most to take note. The sour milk yellow brick walls boast “inspiring” posters, “creative” work, and taped on dirt in the spaces free of scab-like lockers. The color scheme makes me think of death warmed over for Thanksgiving. The acrid odor of heavy cleaners, old lunch, and woodchips does nothing to help my ill feelings.

Love Like Compression I remember hearing obscure voices dreamily announcing how watching the moon swirl through the crowds of stars’ doting arms would spark some reassurance in their overflowing hearts. They would murmur how the missing ones could be doing the same, thinking of them under the far reaching nightscape. These are people who do not seem to realize, we do not all share the same sky.
Darling dearest, I trade the light for your night, and back. The dimly sparkling diamond stars of the space wrapped tight about our little yet too vast world

The Star That's Falling Up         A breath away, she smiled.
        A breath before, the lights fashioned her into an angel with a rainbow aura gleaming off her luscious hair, flawless skin and perfect teeth.
        Halfway through the inhale, her eyes were sparkling reflections of glossy emerald wreaths in his inner-lit blue moonstones.
Changeover, twin spotlights fell onto her back, and Hailey became a silhouette of herself, the personification of foreshadowing.

Just started Drawing 1

pen and ink (with a lil dash of gel pen)
this was my first homework assignment (we were given the prompt "I am..." I went with "A lonely Cannibal" haha)

this semester already seems alot more chillax
of which, today was canceled because of in-climate weather <3 gotta love thundersnow

also counting as 66.Traps in the 100tc (themes challenge)

Goodness! This is bone-chilling.
You've really mastered the definition of what I call "art" here. This drawing moves the soul (in a very haunting way) and intrigues the mind. I'm both captivated and appalled -- in the very best way possible. The teeth, of course, are what my eye immediately focuses own, but what I love even more about this is the detail int he canabalized face at the bottom of the drawing. The girl herself, of course, is wonderful; this work really seems to tie itself together very well.

You are such a talented artist; please continue at it. I see you becoming a very envied artist in the years to come. Stunning work.
